Primers & Dehydrators
Hello! I’ve just started getting interested in doing gel nails (not gel-x), so I wanted to do a bit of research in it before I started but I’m sort of confused on the nail prep process. Do I need to use a primer and/or dehydrator for prep? Or does buffing and an alcohol wipe suffice? I’m not sure if you only need to use a primer and dehydrator if you’re doing extensions, or if you use it all the time (I’m not doing extensions, I’m going to be painting on my natural nails).
